EcoTote

EcoTote is a range of reusable bags created by upcycling garbage bags, plastic waste, jute, waste plants, chip packets, old sachets, and other discarded materials. This initiative promotes reduced plastic usage, responsible consumption, and sustainable fashion while building students’ skills in design, branding, and entrepreneurship.

EcoBriq

Location: Vantage Hall Girls' Residential School, Dehradun

Project Type: Ecological Restoration

EcoBriq involves the production of sustainable fuel briquettes made from newspapers, hay, vegetable peels, forest leaves, and dry waste. Students collected garbage from villages and dry leaves from nearby forests, converting them into eco-briquettes using a machine they designed and assembled themselves. These briquettes are now used in the school kitchen for preparing tandoori rotis, demonstrating real-world application and impact.

Eco Tiles (Polygreen Bricks & Tiles)

Location: Vantage Hall Girls' Residential School, Dehradun

Eco Tiles are manufactured using biodegradable and recycled materials such as plastic waste and thermocol. Heat- and water-resistant, lightweight, and durable, these tiles and bricks offer an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional construction materials.

Seed Pens & Pencils

Location: Vantage Hall Girls' Residential School, Dehradun

Eco-friendly writing tools made from recycled paper that grow into plants after use. These promote circular sustainability and environmental awareness. Students also created pen holders using waste paper and recycled materials.

Dhoop & Incense Sticks

Handmade incense sticks created using plant waste and natural materials, offering a chemical-free and sustainable alternative to commercially produced products.

Community Cleanliness Drives

Under teacher supervision, students conducted large-scale cleanliness drives in Doonga village, promoting the vision of a cleaner and greener India through active community engagement.
